NEW JERSEY FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER: Welcome to the world of MELISSA, CHRIS AND SEAN

Melissa and Chris are subtle people... not demonstrative at all. I know this from spending just a morning with them, but I'm sure I'm not surprising anyone who really knows them at all. It's who they are. But from behind this subtlety, their warm, loving spirit shines through. I could see it in the way their glances connected when they forgot for a second that I was there; in the way Chris sat quietly in Sean's dark nursery watching Melissa lull an overtired baby to sleep; and in this little moment shared behind a bushel of Sean that I didn't even notice until I was editing the images of the day. This first picture is one of my favorites of the shoot. It's funny... I kept directing them to move in closer together for the family portrait they had requested, yet there is no family more connected or closer than they are. I feel honored to have had the opportunity to capture a slice of their day. This is a family full of joy and love... in their unassuming, subtle, very beautiful way. Thanks for a wonderful day!

New Jersey Family Photographer: MELISSA, CHRIS & SEAN... SNEAK PEAK!!!

I got a call one day from Ann, who wanted to give her son and daughter-in-law a photo shoot as a gift to celebrate their baby's christening. What a lovely gift! I met Melissa and Chris on Saturday for the photo shoot, and three-month old Sean... who was quite the sport! The photo shoot wore him out like nothing else. Did he let that ruin his day? No! Well, true... he did have some tears and protests, but like the trooper that he is, he just demanded his nap for auto refresh. Twice!

Now here is a little man who knows exactly what he wants and nothing is going to get in his way. Did I mind? Not at all! Melissa and Chris are such a delight and their precious son is a prince among princes. I am very pleased with the moments and memories captured during my visit.

Thanks Ann, for the opportunity to meet and document a slice of your family's life. Your son and daughter-in-law are awesome and your grandson is a jewel.

Here are a few to tide you over, Chris, Melissa, and Ann.

I'll have more for you very soon!

Pennsylvania Even Photographer: DO YOU HAVE 13.5 MINUTES TO LOOK AT 515 PHOTOS???

I'm not a liar...I'm really not! I told some of you to look for the pictures on Friday and I'm sure I disappointed you.

I narrowed 3000 pictures from the NWPOA/Hess BBQ down to just over 500, edited them, and uploaded them onto my website Thursday night. My website server revolted.

Actually, it did more than revolt.

It coughed.

It choked.

It cried.

It spun it's wheels till kingdom come.

It shouted out in agony.

And then it died. A very slow, long, drawn-out, I'm stuck in cyberspace freeze that sent chills down my spine.

I coughed. I choked. I cried crocodile tears and shouted out in agony.

And then I did what any intelligent individual would do. I purchased a new application to handle the volume. There was a bit of a learning curve involved in getting this off the ground, but not only does it handle the volume, it very astonishingly enables me to present you with a slideshow review of all the pictures, in under 14 minutes!

From this slideshow, you can click onto a gallery where you can view the images in larger formats (up to full-screen, if you so desire) and where you can purchase some prints or digital downloads, as some of you have already requested.

Before you click on the link to the slideshow, let me take a moment to say....

My goodness...

We are a darn good looking group!!! And our kids are the most awesome and FYI, have the absolute coolest hats in the world!

And now, I will recognize all of you in the Walmart.
